Narkel naru, or balls of jaggery flavoured coconut, is another of the sweets made with jaggery and rolled flat coconut, which are served during festivals. Its a very versatile recipe that lends itself to many variations according to taste.

They require no baking and can be trimmed in many different ways, with coconut flour, pistachios, hazelnuts or almonds, colored sugar, chocolate chips. A variant yummy and fast balls with coconut. They are nothing short of delicious treats, especially if, like me, you love both coconut chocolate. They may be prepared in 15 minutes and then storing it in the refrigerator for at least a couple of hours so as to make them respectable coagulate.

If you have children, you can get help from them to make the balls, you will have a great time in hands with coconut and jaggery. Mix all the ingredients together and then form small balls to roll in coconut flour. For variation, you can also roll them in the sugar, cocoa or chopped nuts. Even those who completely denied in the kitchen would be able to prepare them without too much difficulty. But just how great is the simplicity of preparation, so too is the greediness of these pearls of sweetness absolutely irresistible.
